2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the Site.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
3. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Site, our services, applicable laws or our business practices.
The current version will be published on this page and identified by the “Last Updated” date above.
Where a change materially affects an existing paid service, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected customers where appropriate.
4. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, claim a Listing or purchase a Paid Plan.
If you create an account, you agree to:
- provide accurate and current information;
- keep your login credentials secure;
- not allow another person to misuse your account; and
- notify us if you become aware of unauthorised access.
You are responsible for activity undertaken through your account where that activity results from your failure to keep your account credentials secure.
5. Listings and Information Sources
Aussie Aged Care is an independent aged care information and directory service.
Listings may contain information obtained from sources including:
- Australian Government and regulatory datasets and registers;
- publicly available information;
- Provider websites and other Provider-published information;
- information submitted directly by Providers;
- third-party data services; and
- information collected or maintained by Aussie Aged Care.
Information from different sources may be updated at different times.
We take reasonable steps to present useful and accurate information, but aged care information can change. We do not guarantee that every Listing is complete, current or error-free.
Users should confirm important information directly with the relevant Provider before making care, financial or other decisions.
The inclusion of information sourced from a government or regulatory body does not mean that the body endorses, sponsors or is affiliated with Aussie Aged Care.
6. Provider Claims and Listing Management
If you claim or manage a Listing on behalf of a Provider, you represent that:
- you are authorised to act for that Provider;
- information you provide is accurate and not misleading;
- you have the necessary rights or permissions to provide any text, photographs, logos or other material submitted to us; and
- you will take reasonable steps to keep information supplied by you current.
We may request reasonable information to verify your authority to represent a Provider.
We may decline, suspend or remove access to a Claimed Listing where we reasonably believe that:
- the person claiming it is not authorised;
- information supplied is materially false or misleading;
- the Listing breaches these Terms or applicable law;
- the account is being used fraudulently or abusively; or
- action is reasonably required to protect Users, Providers or the integrity of the Site.
Where practical, we will provide the account holder with an opportunity to correct an issue before taking permanent action.
7. Provider-Supplied Content
Providers retain ownership of content they submit to Aussie Aged Care.
By submitting content to us, you grant Aussie Aged Care a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, display, format, resize and make reasonable editorial changes to that content for the purposes of:
- operating your Listing;
- displaying the content across the Site;
- promoting your Listing or Aussie Aged Care services; and
- operating related directory and marketing services.
You represent that you have the right to grant this licence.
We will not knowingly represent a Provider’s logo, images or other Provider-owned material as being owned by Aussie Aged Care.
8. Corrections and Listing Updates
Providers and Users may contact us if they believe information displayed on the Site is inaccurate or outdated.
We may verify proposed corrections against government data, Provider information or other reliable sources before making a change.
Where information comes from an authoritative third-party source, we may continue displaying the source information while identifying its source or update date.
9. Paid Plans and Sponsored Visibility
Aussie Aged Care may offer Paid Plans that provide additional features, visibility or promotional placement.
The features, price, billing period and any renewal arrangements applying to a Paid Plan will be shown before purchase.
Payment methods available at the time of purchase will be displayed during checkout.
Purchasing a Paid Plan:
- does not constitute accreditation or approval by Aussie Aged Care;
- does not mean that a Provider offers higher-quality care;
- does not guarantee enquiries, admissions, customers, revenue, occupancy or any particular commercial outcome; and
- does not constitute endorsement by any Australian Government agency or aged care regulator.
Where payment affects the prominence or presentation of a Listing, Aussie Aged Care may identify relevant placements or features as sponsored, featured or promoted where appropriate.
10. Renewals and Cancellation of Paid Plans
If a Paid Plan automatically renews, this will be disclosed before purchase together with the applicable billing period.
You may cancel future renewal in accordance with the cancellation process made available for that Paid Plan.
Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, cancellation stops future renewal but does not immediately remove benefits already paid for during the current billing period.
Nothing in this section limits rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.
11. Refunds
Unless otherwise stated for a particular service, a customer may request cancellation and a refund within 30 days of a new Paid Plan first becoming active by contacting:
Please include sufficient information for us to identify the relevant order.
Renewals, upgrades and other purchases will be handled in accordance with the terms presented at purchase and applicable Australian law.
Nothing in this refund policy excludes or limits any refund, replacement or other remedy available under the Australian Consumer Law.
12. Enquiries and Contact with Providers
The Site may allow Users to contact, enquire about or request information from Providers.
Where you submit an enquiry, Aussie Aged Care may send the information you provide to the relevant Provider so that the Provider can respond.
Aussie Aged Care:
- does not guarantee that a Provider will respond;
- does not guarantee availability of beds, services, appointments or care;
- is not a party to any agreement subsequently entered into between a User and Provider; and
- is not responsible for the acts, omissions, services or contractual obligations of a Provider.
Users should independently assess whether a Provider is appropriate for their circumstances.
13. No Care, Medical, Financial or Legal Advice
The Site is designed to help people discover, research and compare aged care and related services.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, information on the Site is general information only.
Aussie Aged Care does not:
- assess an individual’s clinical or care needs;
- determine eligibility for government-funded aged care services;
- guarantee accommodation, service or workforce availability;
- provide medical diagnoses or clinical recommendations;
- provide financial or legal advice;
- guarantee that a Provider is suitable for a particular person; or
- replace advice from qualified health, aged care, legal or financial professionals.
Where appropriate, Users should obtain professional advice and contact relevant Providers or My Aged Care directly.
14. Ratings, Reviews and Comparison Information
The Site may display ratings, reviews, quality indicators, regulatory information or comparison data obtained from third-party or government sources.
Such information may relate to a particular reporting period and may not represent current performance.
Users should consider the source, reporting period and context of such information rather than relying on a single rating or measure when making care decisions.
Aussie Aged Care does not independently certify a Provider merely because the Provider appears on the Site.
15. Intellectual Property
Except for material owned by Providers, Users, government bodies or other third parties, the Site and its original content, design, branding, databases and other materials are owned by or licensed to Premium IT Solutions Pty Ltd and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may access and use the Site for personal and legitimate business research purposes.
You must not, without our permission or another lawful basis:
- reproduce substantial parts of the Site for commercial use;
- republish our original content as your own;
- interfere with the operation or security of the Site; or
- use automated methods to extract substantial amounts of Site content in a way that places unreasonable load on the Site or infringes applicable rights.
Nothing in these Terms restricts rights that you may otherwise have under applicable law.
16. Acceptable Use
You must not use the Site to:
- provide knowingly false or misleading information;
- impersonate another person or organisation;
- infringe another person’s intellectual property or other rights;
- publish unlawful, defamatory, threatening or abusive material;
- distribute malware or attempt unauthorised access to systems;
- manipulate ratings, reviews, enquiries or Listing information; or
- materially disrupt the operation of the Site.
17. Third-Party Websites and Services
The Site may contain links to Provider websites, government websites and other third-party services.
These websites and services are operated independently of Aussie Aged Care.
We are not responsible for their availability, content, privacy practices, security or services.
A link does not necessarily mean that Aussie Aged Care endorses the third party or that the third party endorses Aussie Aged Care.
18. Site Availability
We aim to keep the Site available and operating reliably but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
The Site may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems, upgrades, security incidents or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
19. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
Subject to those rights, and to the extent permitted by law, Aussie Aged Care is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from:
- reliance on outdated or incorrect third-party information;
- temporary inability to access the Site;
- the acts or omissions of a Provider or other third party; or
- decisions made independently by Users after accessing general information through the Site.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our liability will be limited only to the extent permitted by law.
20. Responsibility for Provider-Supplied Material
A Provider that submits content is responsible for ensuring that the material:
- is accurate and not misleading;
- does not infringe third-party rights;
- complies with applicable law; and
- can lawfully be supplied to and published by Aussie Aged Care.
To the extent permitted by law, a Provider is responsible for loss or claims directly resulting from material that the Provider supplied to us in breach of these obligations.
21. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate an account or Listing where we reasonably believe:
- these Terms have been materially breached;
- fraudulent or unlawful activity has occurred;
- continued access poses a security or safety risk; or
- suspension or termination is reasonably necessary to protect the Site, its Users or third parties.
Where appropriate and reasonably practicable, we will notify the affected account holder and provide an opportunity to address the issue.
Termination does not affect rights or obligations that arose before termination.
22. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Where you submit personal information through the Site, including through an enquiry or account, that information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Australian privacy law.
You should review the Privacy Policy before providing personal information through the Site.
23. Complaints and Disputes
If you have a concern about Aussie Aged Care, please contact us first so that we have an opportunity to resolve it.

Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer or business from exercising rights available under the Australian Consumer Law or seeking assistance from an appropriate regulator, tribunal, court or dispute-resolution body.
24. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
Subject to any rights you may have under applicable consumer legislation, the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
25. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be read down or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
26. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with any applicable terms presented at purchase and our Privacy Policy, constitute the terms governing your use of the Site and relevant Aussie Aged Care services.
