How can I contact My Aged Care for help?

You can contact My Aged Care in three ways: call the freecall number 1800 200 422, visit the website MyAgedCare.gov.au, or visit any Services Australia Service centre in person. My Aged Care is the main entry point for accessing Australian Government-funded aged care services.

What support services are available through aged care?

Support services include clinical care (like nursing and physiotherapy) which is fully funded by the government, as well as other care services that may require contributions based on your income and assets assessment. You can book an appointment with an Aged Care Specialist Officer by calling 1800 227 475 to discuss available services and costs.

Can someone else contact aged care services on my behalf?

Yes, you can authorise someone to act on your behalf by completing either the ‘Authorising a person or organisation to enquire or act on your behalf (SS313) form’ or the ‘Aged Care Request for a nominee for DVA customers (AC019) form’. This person can then make enquiries and help manage your aged care services.
